Community Wardens

South Holland District Council employ two community wardens who patrol the town area of Spalding and other parts of the district in order to address anti-social behaviour.

They are also able to issue fixed penalties for littering, drinking, urinating etc.

The Meadows Day Centre works to promote the wellbeing of all older people and to make later life a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience.
Every day we provide vital services, information and support to older people of all backgrounds across Spalding and surrounding districts.

We offer the following services at our Day Centre:
Day Care includes activities and health and beauty treatments such as bathing, hair dressing and chiropody (there is an extra charge for health and beauty treatments).

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire

Age UK Lincoln & South Lincolnshire is an independent, local charity and we have been working in the local community to help older people for over 60 years. We have over 200 dedicated staff and volunteers helping us to deliver services and activities for older people in Lincoln and across the county.
We are a local charity supporting over 4,000 people aged 50 and over every week, our dedicated staff and volunteers deliver support services and activities across 17 departments for people countywide.

Covering Lincoln and South Lincolnshire, we are able to offer support to approximately 110,000 of the 171,000 people over the age of 65 with almost 15,000 of those people being 85+.

Our support is varied and extensive, 11,184 people attended activities with us in 2017/18, helping to eliminate social isolation and generating opportunities for engagement through clubs and groups. Our day centre in Lincoln had 4740 attendances offering support to vulnerable older people who are otherwise alone during the day and providing respite for carers
